Es un curso de nivel intermedio en el área de conocimiento de la administración, que busca introducir al alumno al diseño, administración y optimización de procesos y proyectos organizacionales. Se requieren conocimientos previos de administración de la cadena de valor. Como producto de aprendizaje se espera que el alumno comprenda y aplique los conocimientos de administración de procesos para elaborar un proyecto que sea la base para certificarse como Asociado en Gestión de Proyectos Certificado (CAPM) del Project Management Institute (PMI). |

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación: |

Al finalizar el curso el alumno será capaz de analizar la importancia de la administración de procesos; alinear la operación y administración de procesos con la estrategia global de la empresa; analizar el rol de la administración efectiva de proyectos a través del análisis de los métodos de control (tiempo y calidad del proyecto), del análisis del impacto en costo y evaluación del riesgo en la mejora del desempeño organizacional. |

Course intention within the general study plan context: |

This is a mid-level course in the area of management that pretends to introduce the student in the design, management and optimization of the process and projects in the organizations. The course requires previews knowledge in management of the productive chain. After taking this course the student is expected to understand and apply its knowledge in process management and with it develop a project that may serve to certify him in the Certified Associate (CAPM) in Project Management Institute (PMI). |

At the end of the course the student will be able to analyze the importance of the administration of process; align the operation and administration of process with the global strategy of the company; analyze the role of the effective project administration through the analysis of the control methods (time and quality of the project), the impact analysis in the cost and the risk valuation en the improvement of the organization. |
