Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios:  

Es un curso de nivel intermedio que tiene como objetivo desarrollar un proyecto arquitectónico de un edificio de mediana altura o claros intermedios o grandes, además de presentar los criterios estructurales y de instalaciones así como los planos correspondientes para integrar un proyecto ejecutivo, incluyendo albañilería (uso de prefabricados); aluminio y cristal (sistema de fachadas). Elaborar el juego de especificaciones de construcción. Requiere de conocimientos previos de proyectos constructivos y estructuras. Como resultado de aprendizaje, el alumno desarrollará el proyecto ejecutivo de un edificio de oficinas o comercial de mediana altura con sótano en un sitio que permita incluir el diseño del paisaje.

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación:  

Al finalizar el curso, el alumno será capaz desarrollar el proyecto constructivo de un edificio comercial u oficinas, definiendo los sistemas estructurales y la solución a las implicaciones técnicas de las instalaciones y generando los documentos (planos, especificaciones y memorias) que conforman el proyecto ejecutivo.

Course intention within the general study plan context:  

This is an intermediate level course, which enables students to develop an architectural project for a medium-height building or for medium or large clearings, in addition to introducing structural and utility criteria and the corresponding plans for putting together a project that includes brickwork (use of prefabricated materials), steel and glass (facade systems); and to write the construction specifications. Previous knowledge is required in construction projects and structures. The learning outcome for this course is that the students develop a project for a medium-height office building or commercial complex with a basement, in an area that allows the inclusion of landscaping.

Course objective:  

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to develop a construction project of a commercial or office building, defining the structural systems and the solution to the technical implications of the installations and generating the documents (plans, specifications and log) that form part of the final plan set.
