Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |

Curso de nivel intermedio en el campo de estudio de los medios audiovisuales, que tiene como intención que el alumno conozca y valore la evolución, las teorías y las ideologías relacionadas a las narrativas documentales. Se incluirá la revisión del trabajo de autores fundamentales entre los que destacan los hermanos Lumiére, Salvador Toscano, Dziga Vertov, Luis Buñuel, John Grierson, Leni Riefenstahl, Frank Capra, Fernando Solanas, Kevin Rafferty, Michael Moore y Juan Carlos Rulfo. Como resultado del aprendizaje se espera que el alumno sea capaz de producir textos y organizadores conceptuales en que se identifiquen las diversas teorías, criterios y contextos que han intervenido en el desarrollo del cine documental a lo largo de su historia. |

Al finalizar el curso, el alumno será capaz de analizar y comparar las principales corrientes y aproximaciones del género documental, así como de identificar autores y obras principales, de una categoría fundamental de la cinematografía, entendida como manifestación cultural, forma de expresión artística y documento social de indudable valor en la dinámica social de los siglos XX y XXI. | |||||

Course intention within the general study plan context: |
|||||
Intermediate course of study in the field of audiovisual media that has the intention that students recognize and appreciate the evolution , the theories and the ideologies related to documentary narrative . It wil be included a review of the work of key authors among which the Lumiere brothers, Salvador Toscano, Dziga Vertov , Luis Buñuel , John Grierson, Leni Riefenstahl , Frank Capra, Fernando Solanas, Kevin Rafferty, Michael Moore and Juan Carlos Rulfo stand out. As a result, by the end of the course it is expected that students will be able to produce texts and conceptual organizers that respond to a series of theories , approaches and contexts that have been intervening in the development of documentary film throughout its history. |
