Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios:  

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación:  
Conocer y analizar al Estado en el marco de su configuración constitucional y ante los compromisos provenientes de los derechos humanos y las relaciones internacionales. Comprender los derechos y obligaciones de la población y sus garantías. El principio de la soberanía. Las formas de gobierno. Las organizaciones políticas. El proceso electoral. La participación del Estado en la planeación del desarrollo. La organización territorial del Estado. Significar y estimar constitucionalmente: el municipio, los estados de la Federación, los órganos y las funciones del poder en México, así como la presencia y función del juicio de amparo.

Course objective:  
Know and analyze the State in the framework of its constitutional configuration and before the commitments coming from human rights and international relations. Understand the rights and obligations of the populations and its guarantees. The beginnings of sovereignty. The forms of government. The political organizations. The electoral process. The participation of State in the planning of development. The territorial organizing of the State. Constitutionally signify and estimate: the county, the Federation states, the organs and the functions of power in Mexico, as well as the presence and function of the protection trial.
