Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |

|
Es un curso de nivel intermedio, que tiene la intención de desarrollar en el estudiante habilidades de observación, empatía, pensamiento crítico y reflexión para que pueda participar activamente en el co-diagnóstico, co-creacion y co-implementación de estrategias de alto impacto social. En este curso se analizarán activamente metodologías colaborativas que involucran la participación de diferentes actores de un sistema a lo largo de las diferentes etapas del co-diseño. Requiere conocimientos básicos de diseño de productos, servicios o sistemas y de metodología de diseño. Como resultado del aprendizaje el alumno aplicará de forma práctica las metodologías de co-participación aprendidas, y presentará propuestas de planes de acción comunitarios que integren los diferentes componentes de la sustentabilidad y que respondan a las necesidades de un grupo específico. |

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación: |

| Al finalizar el curso el alumno será capaz de entender y visualizar al Co-diseño como una herramienta integradora para la generación de cambios en la transición hacia una sociedad más sustentable, haciendo énfasis en el componente social –cultural. También podrá implementar metodologías colaborativas que contemplen el trabajo interdisciplinario como un detonador de innovación social desde y para la comunidad, a partir de la identificación del problema raíz y hasta la generación de estrategias que los solucionen. | |||||

Course intention within the general study plan context: |

This is an introductory level course open to students from different disciplines that seek to develop observation skills, empathy, critical thinking and reflection as tools to actively participate the co-diagnosis, co-creation and co-implementation of high-impact social strategies. Different stages of co-design methodologies that involve the collaborative participation of various actors in a system are actively analyzed during the course. As an outcome, the student applies the co-participative methodologies learnt, and presents proposals for community action plans that integrate the different components of sustainability, responding to the particular needs of a specific group. |

Course objective: |

| Upon completion of this course students will be able to understand and visualize Co-design methods as an integrative tool for generating positive changes in the transition to a more sustainable society, with emphasis on the social-cultural component. Students will be also able to implement collaborative methodologies that include interdisciplinary work as a trigger for "grass root" social innovation, from the identification of the meta problems until developing strategies that help to bring solutions. | |||||
