Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios:  

Este curso de nivel básico revisa la conformación del patrimonio cultural de México a partir de sus dos dimensiones de análisis, realizando un estudio sobre las características materiales de objetos y sitios para distinguir el patrimonio tangible y las prácticas culturales que permiten identificar el patrimonio intangible. Este curso no requiere conocimiento previo. Como resultado del aprendizaje, el estudiante será capaz de reconocer el legado cultural de México y realizar proyectos de divulgación creativos para su apreciación.

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación:  

Al finalizar el curso, el alumno será capaz de:

- Distinguir elementos culturales presentes en diferentes manifestaciones artísticas textuales, visuales, audiovisuales, sonoras y espaciales.

- Elaborar propuestas y alternativas para la difusión, conocimiento, valoración y promoción de sitios patrimoniales y producciones artísticas.

- Identificar las características del contexto histórico que influyen la producción cultural de México.

- Contrastar  las características de la producción cultural de México en un periodo determinado.

- Identificar los elementos para la apreciación de las diversas producciones artísticas textuales, visuales, audiovisuales, sonoras, arquitectónico, espaciales, gráfico, etc.

- Identificar los derechos humanos fundamentales y reconoce la importancia del respeto a la diversidad y a la identidad de género

- Elaborar propuestas para la promoción de una cultura de respeto a la diversidad, a través de diversas producciones artísticas

- Participar de forma respetuosa a la diversidad en proyectos colaborativos realizados en el desarrollo de la clase.

Course intention within the general study plan context:  

This basic level course examines the composition of the cultural heritage of Mexico drawing from two analisys dimensions, doing a study about the material characteristics of the objects and sites to distinguish between tangible heritage and the cultural practices that permit the identification of the intangible heritage. This course doesn’t require previous knowledge. As a learning outcome, the student will be able to recognize the cultural heritage of Mexico and develop creative disseminating projects for its appreciation.

Course objective:  

At the end of this course the student will be capable of:

• Distinguish cultural elements to be found in diverse artistic expressions, such as visual, ausiovisual, aural, among others
• Prepare proposals and alternatives for the dissemination, knowledge, valuation, and promotion of heritage sites and artistic productions.
• Identify the characteristics of the historical context that influence the cultural production of Mexico.
• Contrast the characteristics of the cultural production of Mexico in a given period.
• Identify the elements for the appreciation of the various textual, visual, audiovisual, aural, architectural, spatial, and graphic productions, among others.
• Identify fundamental human rights and recognize the importance to respect for diversity and gender identity
• Develop proposals for the promotion of a culture of respect for diversity, through various artistic productions.
• Participate in a respectful way to diversity in collaborative projects carried out in the development of the course.
