Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |
|||||
Se busca que los alumnos conozcan las oportunidades de negocios existentes en las zonas rurales y en el mercado de productos orgánicos y comprendan y puedan aplicar tanto en su vida personal como en su futura empresa, los conceptos de desarrollo sustentable, comercio justo y responsabilidad social. Al final los alumnos harán una valoración del campo, teniendo un sentido de ciudadanía y un mayor compromiso social con los actores que participan a lo largo de la cadena productiva del sector primario, en especial con los productores agrícolas. Esto a través de la comprensión del sentido de ciudadanía, entendiendo y aplicando en su vida diaria valores de justicia y equidad, como pilar central del ejercicio de una democracia incluyente, donde todos los sectores de la población tengan voz y voto. |

Course intention within the general study plan context: |
|||||
It is intended for students to get to know the opportunities of already established businesses in rural areas and within the organic products market and to understand and be able to apply in their personal life as well as in their future business venture this and other concepts such as sustainable development, fair trade and social responsibility. In the end the students are expected to make an evaluation of a project related with ecobusiness in rural areas, making a DAFO analysis, doing an evaluation of the system and making proposals for improvements. |

The student will have a deeper commitment with society and a respectful attitude towards the environment. The student will be able to give orientation in order to engage in businesses that will improve the development of rural communities. The student will do this by applying concepts like fair trade and cooperative systems with a sustainable vision. | |||||
