Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |

Curso de nivel básico en el área de la literatura que ofrece al alumno un panorama amplio de la literatura hispanoamericana contemporánea a partir de la lectura y análisis representativos que aborden la problemática de los abusos del poder, migración, transformación y frontera. No requiere conocimientos previos. Como resultado de aprendizaje el alumno demostrará por medio de un escrito un análisis literario de los textos estudiados abordando la problemática del poder y la frontera. |

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación: |

| Al finalizar el curso, el alumno será capaz de distinguir en qué consisten las transformaciones estéticas de la literatura hispanoamericana dentro del marco más amplio de la literatura occidental en el siglo XX; asimismo, apreciará los diferentes autores y estilos literarios de los países más representativos de Hispanoamérica con el fin de analizarlos en el contexto del poder y la frontera. | |||||

Course intention within the general study plan context: |

|
The purpose of this basic literature course is to offer students an overview of contemporary Latin American literature, starting with analysis of representative readings dealing with the problems of abuse of power, migration, social changes and border issues. No previous knowledge is required. The learning outcome of this course for students is to analyze in writing the literary texts studied regarding the problems of power and border-related issues. |

| Upon completion of this course, students will be conversant with the aesthetic transformations of Hispano-American literature within the broader framework of western 20th century literature; He will also be able to appreciate the diverse authors and literary styles of the most representative Hispano-American countries in order to analyze them within the context of power and borders. | |||||
