Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios:  

Este curso de nivel intermedio revisa la figura del viajero a través del estudio de obras literarias, teatrales y cinematográficas poniendo en diálogo las diferentes identidades del viajero: las del turista, el migrante, el soldado o el refugiado, por ejemplo, con el fin de entablar vínculos entre identidades y experiencias de flujo que podrían ser concebidas como ajenas entre sí, pero que participan en la formación de nuevas comunidades e imaginarios. Este curso no requiere conocimiento o experiencia previa.

Como resultado del aprendizaje, el estudiante articular y se relaciona con el panorama global actual a través del análisis de diversas experiencias de personas y grupos desplazados en su andar transnacional en momentos de crisis geopolíticas, sociales y económicas.

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación:  

Al finalizar el curso, el estudiante será capaz de:

- Establecer un concepto de sí mismo, describiendo su vida a partir de un autodiagnóstico, clarificando el área disciplinar en que se desea formar profesionalmente y utilizando un marco de referencia la ética personal.

- Nombrar e identificar conocimientos y actitudes sobre los siguientes aspectos: 1) Fundamentos del concepto de sí mismo, 2) Fundamentos de la conducta desde las ciencias del comportamiento, 3) Conceptos del bien común desde diversas perspectivas éticas, 4) Esferas de bienestar, 5) Metodologías para el autodiagnóstico personal y autoconocimiento que incluyan enfoques de conciencia plena, 6) Cuestionamiento de supuestos y prejuicios sobre uno mismo.

- Reconocer la diversidad como un elemento enriquecedor de su quehacer personal y profesional, con base en los derechos humanos en el contexto próximo.

- Conocer los derechos humanos fundamentales, el concepto de género y entender las ventajas de la diversidad e integrar estos conocimientos a la convivencia cotidiana en el trabajo en equipo, manifestando la apertura, el interés y la disposición hacia la diversidad. 

- Identificar argumentos, contextos, intenciones y emociones a través del análisis lingüístico-discursivo, la identificación de ideas principales, marcas afectivas y argumentativas de los interlocutores.

El(la) instructor(a) debe contar con experiencia en la enseñanza de literatura, cine y expresiones artísticas clásicas y contemporáneas. Es recomendable que tenga experiencia en estudios de carácter antropológico, histórico o sociológico sobre migraciones y narrativas digitales.

This intermediate level course reviews the figure of the traveler through the study of literature, theater, and film, putting into dialogue the different identities of the traveler: for example, those of the tourist, the migrant, the soldier, or the refugee, in order to establish links between fluid identities and experiences that could be conceived as alien to one other, but that participate in the formation of new communities and imaginaries. This course does not require prior knowledge or experience.

As a result of the course, the student will be able to articulate and relate to the current global panorama through the analysis of diverse experiences of displaced people and groups in their transnational journeys in times of geopolitical, social, and economic crisis.

Course objective:  

At the end of this course the student will be capable of:

- Establishing a concept of themself, describing their life from a self-diagnosis, clarifying the disciplinary area in which they wish to train professionally and using a framework of personal ethics; - Naming and identifying knowledge and attitudes about the following aspects: 1) Foundations of the concept of oneself, 2) Foundations of conduct from the behavioral sciences, 3) Concepts of the common good from various ethical perspectives, 4) Spheres of well-being, 5 ) Methodologies for self-diagnosis and self-knowledge that include mindfulness approaches, 6) Questioning assumptions and prejudices about oneself.

- Recognizing diversity as an enriching element of their personal and professional work, based on human rights in the immediate context; knowing the fundamental human rights, the concept of gender and understanding the advantages of diversity; being able to integrate this knowledge into daily coexistence through teamwork, showing openness, interest and willingness towards diversity.

- Identifying arguments, contexts, intentions and emotions through linguistic and discourse analysis, the identification of main ideas, affective and argumentative marks of their interlocutors

Academic credentials required to teach the course:  

The instructor should have experience in the teaching of literature, cinema and classical and contemporary artistic expressions. It is recommended that they have a background in anthropological studies on migration and digital narratives.
