Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |

Este es un curso de lengua a nivel intermedio-avanzado que tiene la intención de que los estudiantes desarrollen las cuatro habilidades de la lengua en ingles: habla, escritura, escucha y lectura en un ambiente de negocios. Este curso requiere de conocimientos de la lengua inglesa a nivel pre-intermedio para poder lograr los objetivos al nivel de este curso. Como resultados de aprendizaje los alumnos serán capaces de desenvolverse en un ambiente de negocios escribiendo cartas, reportes, artículos y correos. También podrán hablar de su persona, de su profesión, planear eventos y hacer presentaciones y de interpretar gráficas. |

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación: |

Al finalizar el curso el alumno será capaz de desarrollar las cuatro habilidades de la lengua inglesa: escritura, habla, lectura,y escucha en un ambiente de negocios, a nivel intermedio avanzado a través de materiales autenticos y actividades relevantes con su vida profesional. |

Course intention within the general study plan context: |
|||||
The course consists of a series of activities in which students interact in business- like situations to develop communicative language proficiency and independence to perform successfully in a business environment. Students will practice the four basic skills of a language at an intermediate independent level. This course requires previous knowledge of the language at a pre-intermediate or intermediate low level to be able to achieve the objectives of this course. For learning outcomes the student will be able to perform effectively in a business environment writing letters, articles, reports and emails. They will also be able to speak about themselves, their profession, interact in business meetings and give presentations where they interpret data. |

At the end of this course the students will develop the four skills of the English language: writing, speaking, reading and listening in a Business English context at a B2 level through authentic materials and relevant activities to their professional life. |
