Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |

Curso de nivel intermedio en ingeniería industrial que les permite a los estudiantes diseñar esquemas para el análisis y presentación de la información con la finalidad de utilizarla en los procesos de toma de decisiones y memoria corporativa de la empresa. Requiere conocimientos previos de computación básica. Como resultado de aprendizaje el alumno identifica las mejores estrategias para analizar y presentar la información, de tal forma que se logre una ventaja competitiva para una organización y disminuya el tiempo requerido para llevar a cabo el proceso de toma de decisiones. |

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación: |

Al finalizar este curso el alumno será capaz de organizar y manipular datos para convertirlos en información relevante para la toma de decisiones dentro de la empresa, así como generar reportes de indicadores de desempeño que representen fielmente el comportamiento de los sistemas. |

Course intention within the general study plan context: |

|
The purpose of this intermediate industrial engineering course is to allow students to design plans for the analysis and presentation of information with the goal of using those plans in the decision-making process and the corporate memory of the enterprise. The course requires previous knowledge of basic computing. The learning outcome of this course is for students to be able to identify the best strategies for analyzing and presenting information so that this becomes a competitive advantage for an organization and reduces the time required to make decisions. |
