Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |

Es un curso de nivel intermedio en el que se aportan al estudiante conocimientos sobre los principios de aerodinámica y la mecánica de vuelo. Asimismo, brinda las herramientas que se utilizan para control de tráfico aéreo y telecomunicaciones. Requiere los conocimientos de fundamentos de ingeniería mecánica o de introducción a la ingeniería. Como resultado del aprendizaje el alumno integrará los conceptos de meteorología, aerodinámica y mecánica de vuelo con la navegación aérea. |

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación: |

Al finalizar el curso el alumno comprenderá y será capaz de explicar los principios de aerodinámica y la mecánica de vuelo. Conocerá los conceptos de meteorología, navegación aérea, control de tráfico aéreo y telecomunicaciones; así como los principios prácticos para efectuar un vuelo. |
