Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |

|
Es un curso de nivel intermedio que tiene la intención de que el alumno conozca las alteraciones morfológicas microscópicas y macroscópicas de los principales mecanismos del daño, reparación y adaptación celular, además de los diferentes tipos de procesos inflamatorios, la transformación neoplásica así como las principales patologías del sistema endocrino. Requiere conocimientos básicos de histología y morfofisiología. Como resultado del aprendizaje el alumno identificará y explicará de manera contextual las alteraciones anatomopatológicas e histopatológicas de los procesos fisiopatológicos fundamentales de la patología general y de la patología del sistema endocrino, con base en casos reales o hipotéticos. |

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación: |

| Al finalizar el curso el alumno será capaz de comprender las alteraciones anátomo patológicas e histopatológicas relacionadas con los procesos fisiopatológicos fundamentales de la patología general y de la patología del sistema endocrino ejemplificados con casos reales o hipotéticos; identificar y describir las características macroscópicas y microscópicas de la patología general y de las alteraciones anatomopatológicas e histopatológicas relacionadas con los procesos fisiopatológicos fundamentales de la patología del sistema endocrino ejemplificados con casos reales o hipotéticos; interpretar el significado de las anomalías anatomopatológicas e histopatológicas más relevantes de la patología general relacionándolas con el mecanismo fisiopatológico subyacente y del sistema endocrino ejemplificados con casos reales o hipotéticos. | |||||

Course intention within the general study plan context: |

It is an intermediate level course aimed to provide knowledge about the microscopic and macroscopic morphological alterations of the main mechanisms of cellular damage, repair and adaptation, besides the various types of inflammatory processes, the neoplastic transformation as well as the main pathologies of the endocrine system. Requires basic knowledge of histology and morphology. As a result of the learning, the student identifies and explains in a contextual way the anatomopathological and histopathological alterations of the fundamental pathophysiological processes of the general pathology and the pathology of the endocrine system, based on real or hypothetical cases. |

| Upon completion of this course, students will be able to understand the anatomical and histological changes related to the fundamental pathophysiological processes of general pathology and endocrine system pathology and illustrated by actual or hypothetical cases; identify and describe the macroscopic and microscopic characteristics of general pathology and of anatomical and histological alterations related to the fundamental pathophysiological processes of endocrine disease illustrated by actual or hypothetical cases; interpret the meaning of the most relevant pathological abnormalities of general pathology linking these to the underlying pathophysiological mechanism and of abnormalities in the endocrine system illustrated by actual or hypothetical cases. | |||||
