Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |

|
Es un curso de alta especialidad que tiene la intención de preparar al médico oftalmólogo para llevar a cabo tratamientos médicos y quirúrgicos de las diferentes enfermedades de los párpados. Requiere conocimientos básicos de Oftalmología general. Como resultado del aprendizaje se espera que el alumno realice un registro de las cirugías de párpado en las que participó y el tipo de participación que tuvo. |

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación: |

| Al finalizar el curso, el alumno será capaz de evaluar y diagnosticar enfermedades de los párpados en forma metódica, clínica y mediante los diferentes estudios diagnósticos (laboratorio e imagen). Será capaz de tratar médica y quirúrgicamente las diferentes enfermedades de párpados. | |||||

This is a sub-specialty course in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids. This course is intended for ophthalmologist. During the program you will become accomplished in the diagnostic evaluation and medical and surgical treatment of eyelid disorders. The training will include clinical and surgical activities. Requires basic knowledge of general ophthalmology. As learning outcome is expected that the student makes a registry of every eyelid surgery he attended and the type of participation he made. |

| Student will be able to evaluate and diagnose eyelids disorders in a methodic way, clinically and by using laboratory and imaging studies. Will be able to treat medically and/or surgically the different disorders affecting the eyelids. | |||||
