Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios:

Es un curso de nivel intermedio en el cual el alumno desarrollará la capacidad de comprender los procesos de configuración del sistema político mexicano, a través de la revisión de estructuras y funciones políticas. No requiere conocimientos previos. Mediante presentaciones en clase y exámenes de comprobación de conocimientos el alumno comprenderá la estructura y funcionamiento de los actores y estructuras políticas del país.

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación:

Este curso presenta a los alumnos a los actos, la estructura y las dinámicas de las instituciones y los procesos políticos en el México contemporáneo, así como a las asuntos relacionados con las elecciones y la participación política, reclutamiento de líderes, la toma de decisiones, las relaciones entre los tres poderes, los stakeholders y los partidos políticos.

Course intention within the general study plan context:

In this intermediate level course, students develop the ability to understand the configuration processes of the Mexican political system by reviewing political structures and functions. No prior knowledge is required. Through class presentations and progress tests, students will come to understand the functions of the country?s politicians and its political structures.

Course objective:

This course introduces students to the actors, structure, and dynamics of institutions and political processes in contemporary Mexico, as well as to matters related to elections and political participation, recruitment of leaders, decision-making, relationship between the three powers, stakeholders, political parties.
