| El alumno: - Aprenderá las reglas para resolver una ecuación de primer grado. - Planteará modelos matemáticos con ecuaciones de primer grado a problemas de la vida real y de otras áreas. - Aprenderá a resolver sistemas de ecuaciones lineales con dos y tres incógnitas. - Planteará modelos matemáticos con sistemas de ecuaciones a problemas de la vida real y de otras áreas. - Aprenderá a simplificar y a realizar operaciones con radicales, aplicando sus reglas. - Conocerá el concepto de números complejos y realizará operaciones entre ellos. - Establecerá las diferencias entre ecuaciones y desigualdades. - Resolverá desigualdades interpretando su solución en la recta numérica. - Será capaz de definir e interpretar una ecuación cuadrática. - Será capaz de resolver una ecuación cuadrática. - Será capaz de plantear y resolver modelos matemáticos que involucren ecuaciones cuadráticas. - Será capaz de resolver los sistemas de ecuaciones cuadráticas. - Será capaz entender y aplicar los teoremas de valor absoluto. - Será capaz de resolver ecuaciones y desigualdades que involucren el valor absoluto. | |||||

| The student: - Will learn the rules for solving a first degree equation - Will apply mathematical models with first degree equations to real life problems and other areas. - Will learn to solve lineal equation systems with two and three unknowns. - Will apply mathematical models with equation systems to real life problems and other areas. - Will learn to simplify and solve operations with radicals, applying the rules. - Will learn the concept of complex numbers and will solve operations between them. - Will establish the differences between equations and inequality. - Will solve inequalities interpreting the solution in the number line. - Will be able to define and interpret a quadratic equation. - Will be able to solve a quadratic equation. - Will be able to construct and solve mathematical models, which involve quadratic equations. - Will be able to solve quadratic equation systems. - Will understand and apply absolute value theorems. - Will be capable of solving equations and inequalities, which involve absolute value. | |||||
