Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios: |

|
Curso de nivel intermedio en el área de los matemáticas que requiere que el alumno tenga conocimientos de álgebra y funciones. Las competencias de egreso que se buscan fortalecer o desarrollar con este curso son: resolver problemas de forma creativa aplicando los conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes adquiridos en las diferentes áreas académicas; aplicar los conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes en la evaluación y resolución de problemas multidisciplinarios; y diseñar proyectos innovadores integrando diferentes contenidos y recursos tecnológicos en la solución de diversas problemáticas. Como resultado del aprendizaje el alumno será capaz de aplicar el concepto de derivada en problemas en los que se requiera obtener la razón de cambio instantánea. |

Al finalizar el curso el alumno será capaz de:
· Comprender el concepto de razón de cambio instantánea y su aplicación al área de física y economía. · Establecer el modelo matemático que le permita resolver problemas de optimización.

This intermediate mathematics course requires students to be familiar with algebra and functions. Exit competencies strengthened or developed in this course: Students will solve problems creatively, applying the knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired in the different academic areas; apply their knowledge, skills and attitudes to evaluate and solve multidisciplinary problems; and design innovative projects, integrating diverse contents and technological resources to solve a variety of problems. Learning outcomes: Students will apply the concept of derivatives in problems in which the instantaneous rate of change needs to be obtained. |
