Intención del curso en el contexto general del plan de estudios:

Objetivo general de la Unidad de Formación:

Al finalizar la unidad de formación cada estudiante será capaz de:

- Reconocer los problemas sociales globales especificando sus principales causas y consecuencias

- Vincular los problemas sociales internacionales con conceptos y teorías básicos de las relaciones internacionales a través de la revisión de casos

- Promover la participación incluyente y la diversidad de pensamiento mediante el diálogo, la escucha activa y la generación de acuerdos

- Elaborar escritos como memorándums y ensayos cortos cuidando la coherencia, la corrección gramatical y respetando los requisitos y formatos solicitados

- Ser consciente de la responsabilidad cívica que implica ser un ciudadano del mundo considerando los diversos desafíos globales

Course objective:

Upon completion of the educational unit, each student will be able to:

- Recognize global social problems by specifying their main causes and consequences.
- Link international social problems with basic concepts and theories of international relations through the review of cases.
- Promote inclusive participation and diversity of thought through dialogue, active listening, and the generation of agreements.K20
- Prepare written documents such as memorandums and short essays, ensuring coherence, grammatical correctness, and adherence to the required formats and guidelines.
- Be aware of the civic responsibility that being a global citizen entails, considering the various global challenges.
