Al finalizar la concentración el alumno será capaz de:
- Diseñar e implementar propuestas de investigación y emprendimiento a través de la comprensión de los fundamentos del funcionamiento del sistema nervioso desde los aspectos celulares y moleculares, los circuitos y redes neuronales hasta las funciones corticales superiores, que intervienen en el estudio de la conducta y aprendizaje en el ser humano. El alumno podrá aplicar dichos conocimientos en proyectos de investigación traslacional y en propuestas de emprendimiento en educación, salud, o en el ámbito de las neurociencias, con uso de tecnología de forma interdisciplinaria.
At the end of this unit, the student will be able to:
- Design and implement research and entrepreneurship proposals informed by an understanding of the fundamentals of nervous system functions, from cellular and molecular aspects, neural circuitry and networks, to the superior cortical functions that play a part in the study of behaviour and learning in humans. The student will be able to apply said knowledge in translational research projects as well as entrepreneurship proposals regarding education, health and neuroscience using technology in an interdisciplinary fashion.

Criterios de evaluación para concentraciones inmersivas.
Para la integración de la calificación final, en la evaluación del aprendizaje de los estudiantes se usarán procedimientos y criterios que permiten evaluar tanto los resultados del proceso de aprendizaje en los módulos como el o los productos del aprendizaje creados por los estudiantes, que permitan observar el desarrollo de las competencias.
- Cuando la calificación final sea mayor o igual a 70, el estudiante acreditará las unidades de formación variable correspondientes y dos Semanas Tec.
- Cuando a juicio del equipo docente se justifique, podrá asignarse la calificación no numérica IN (Incompleto) en los términos y condiciones previstos en el Artículo 5.7 del reglamento Académico para Alumnos de Carreras Profesionales de planes de estudio 2019.
- Cuando la calificación final sea menor a 70, la unidad de formación se considera reprobada. En consecuencia, no podrán acreditarse unidades de formación variable ni Semanas Tec.
Para la acreditación de Semanas Tec, deben ser las propuestas por el alumno, las más atrasadas y autorizadas por el Director de Programa.
Requisito para obtener el Diploma de la Concentración
- Obtener una calificación final de, al menos, 85 en la unidad de formación que integra la concentración.
Evaluation criteria for full-time concentrations:
For the integration of the final grade, in the evaluation of student learning, procedures and criteria will be used that allow evaluating both the results of the learning process in the modules and the learning product(s) created by the students, which allow observing the development of competencies.
- When the final grade is greater than or equal to 70, the student will accredit the corresponding variable training units and two Tec Weeks.
- When justified in the opinion of the teaching team, the non-numerical grade IN (Incomplete) may be assigned in the terms and conditions provided in Article 5.7 of the Academic Regulations for Students of Professional Careers of 2019 study plans.
- When the final grade is less than 70, the training unit is considered as failed. Consequently, variable training units or Tec Weeks cannot be accredited.
For the Tec Weeks accreditation, the ones proposed by the student must be the most delayed and authorized by the Program Director.
Requirements to obtain the Concentration Diploma
- Obtain a final grade of at least 85 in the training unit that makes up the concentration.
