Perfil del Egresado de Semanas Tec
Las Semanas Tec son unidades de formación diseñadas para contribuir al desarrollo de competencias transversales y disciplinares en el estudiantado. Las y los estudiantes inscritos en el período académico semestral deben cursar dos Semanas Tec por semestre de su plan de estudios. De estas, 4 son obligatorias, mientras que las restantes pueden elegirlas según sus intereses.
Su evaluación está sujeta a los mismos lineamientos de otros tipos de unidades de formación y se acreditan cuando el alumno obtiene una calificación igual o superior a setenta. Los alumnos podrán acreditar las Semanas Tec cursándolas y aprobándolas o por acreditación, si son elegibles de acuerdo con lo establecido en los lineamientos de Semanas Tec.
Semanas Tec Obligatorias
- Inducción al Servicio Social. Proporciona una introducción completa a los conceptos y herramientas básicas necesarias para comprender cómo las y los estudiantes pueden aportar a la sociedad. Las propuestas de proyecto elaboradas por el estudiantado deben estar alineadas con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) establecidos por la ONU, lo que asegura que las intervenciones propuestas contribuyan al logro de metas globales de desarrollo humano y sostenibilidad.
- Semana Tec disciplinar. Tiene como característica contar con diseños alineados a los temas estratégicos de cada Escuela, los cuales el profesor o la profesora podrá enriquecer con su experiencia y su entorno. Además, contempla la perspectiva de las distintas carreras de la Escuela y considera cierta flexibilidad para integrar nuevas temáticas.
- Orientación para la vida profesional. Pretende facilitar a las y los estudiantes la comprensión de sus fortalezas, debilidades, intereses y valores personales, como base fundamental para tomar decisiones sobre la avenida de desarrollo profesional en la que desean incorporarse. El diseño de esta Semana Tec busca promover la reflexión y definición de objetivos y aspiraciones a corto, mediano y largo plazo.
- Tácticas y guías para examen de fin de carrera: Está diseñada para ayudar a las y los estudiantes a prepararse eficaz y estratégicamente para su examen de fin de carrera.
Semanas Tec Optativas (de libre elección)
El estudiantado podrá elegir diseños de esta categoría, los cuales están centrados en contenidos y metodologías de diversas áreas de conocimiento, así como en el fortalecimiento de competencias propias de su disciplina. Estas Semanas Tec pueden estar orientadas a desarrollar cualidades como liderazgo, innovación, emprendimiento, desarrollo humano, entre otras.
Criterios de selección de Semanas Tec
- Todos los estudiantes deben inscribir y/o acreditar dos Semanas Tec por cada semestre de su plan de estudios, incluyendo las obligatorias.
Graduate Profile of Tec Weeks
Tec Weeks are educational units designed to develop transversal and disciplinary competencies in students. Students enrolled in semester academic periods must take two Tec Weeks per semester as part of their study plan. Of these, four are mandatory, while the remaining ones can be chosen according to their interests.
Their evaluation is subject to the same guidelines as other types of educational units and are accredited when the student achieves a grade of seventy or higher. Students can accredit the Tec Weeks by taking and passing them or by accreditation if they are eligible according to the Tec Weeks guidelines.
Mandatory Tec Weeks
Induction to Social Service. Provides a comprehensive introduction to the basic concepts and tools necessary to understand how students can contribute to society. The project proposals developed by the students must align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the ONU, ensuring that the proposed interventions contribute to achieving global human development and sustainability goals.
Disciplinary Tec Week. It features designs aligned with the strategic themes of each School, which the professor can enrich with their experience and environment. It also considers the perspective of the different careers of the School and incorporates a certain flexibility to accommodate new topics.
Professional Development Orientation. Aims to help students understand their strengths, weaknesses, interests, and personal values, as a fundamental basis for making decisions about the professional development path they wish to pursue. The design of this Tec Week aims to promote reflection and the definition of short, medium, and long-term goals and aspirations.
Tactics and Guides for Final Exam. Designed to help students prepare effectively and strategically for their final exam.
Optional Tec Weeks (free choice)
Students can choose designs from this category, which focus on content and methodologies from various areas of knowledge, as well as strengthening competencies specific to their discipline. These Tec Weeks can be oriented towards developing qualities such as leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and human development, among others.
Criteria for Selection of Tec Weeks
All students must register and/or accredit two Tec Weeks for each semester of their study plan, including the mandatory ones.
