Graduates will be able to make financing, investment and risk-management decisions in financial markets, insurance, investment funds, stock markets, among other areas in public or private banking, insurance or securities institutions, Banco de México or the Mexican Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP).

Para obtener un título profesional en el Tecnológico de Monterrey se requiere:
- Haber cumplido, de acuerdo con las normas en vigor, con los requisitos académicos previos del plan de estudios correspondiente, mediante la evaluación inicial o las unidades de nivel introductorio.
- Haber cubierto todas las unidades de formación del plan de estudios que corresponda, ya sea aprobando todas las unidades de formación en el Tecnológico de Monterrey, o bien, obteniendo acuerdos de revalidación o equivalencia conforme a las normas correspondientes de una parte de las unidades de formación con estudios hechos en otras instituciones y aprobando las unidades de formación restantes en el Tecnológico de Monterrey.
- Haber demostrado el nivel de dominio establecido por la Institución en las competencias definidas de su plan de estudios.
- Haber cursado y aprobado en el Tecnológico de Monterrey, por lo menos, el 50% de los créditos académicos que integran el plan de estudios. Podrá tenerse flexibilidad en esta norma en los programas que, mediante un convenio, se establezcan en conjunto con otras universidades.
- Haber cumplido con el servicio social, de acuerdo con los preceptos legales en vigor y el reglamento del servicio social correspondiente.
- Haber presentado el examen externo, autorizado por la Vicerrectoría Académica y de Innovación Educativa, para evaluar los conocimientos y habilidades adquiridos durante su carrera profesional. Este requisito es aplicable solamente a los alumnos de las carreras profesionales para las que existan dichos exámenes. El resultado de este examen quedará registrado en el expediente del alumno. En las carreras en las que no exista dicho examen, los alumnos de las carreras profesionales deberán presentar los exámenes integradores diseñados para este fin. Este requisito es aplicable solamente a los alumnos de las carreras profesionales para las que existan dichos exámenes.
- Haber demostrado un nivel de dominio B2 del idioma inglés referenciado al Marco Común Europeo de Referencia (MCER) en alguno de los exámenes autorizados por la Vicerrectoría Académica y de Innovación Educativa.
- Haber cumplido con los requisitos adicionales establecidos en su programa autorizados por la Vicerrectoría Académica y de Innovación Educativa.
El egresado podrá registrar el título profesional ante la Secretaría de Educación Pública y solicitar la expedición de la cédula profesional para el ejercicio profesional en México. La validez del título o cédula profesional en otros países requiere cumplir con requisitos adicionales gubernamentales o institucionales.
In order to obtain an undergraduate degree at Tecnológico de Monterrey, students are required to have:
- Fulfilled, in accordance with the effective regulations, the academic prerequisites of the corresponding curriculum, by means of the initial evaluation or the introductory-level units.
- Completed all the educational units in the corresponding curriculum, either by passing all of them at Tecnológico de Monterrey, or by obtaining revalidation or equivalency agreements, in conformity with the corresponding regulations, for some of the educational units with studies completed at other institutions and passing the remaining educational units at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
- Demonstrated the level of proficiency established by the Institution in the competencies defined in their curriculum.
- Completed and passed at Tecnológico de Monterrey at least 50% of the academic credits that comprise the curriculum. This rule can be flexible for programs that, through an agreement, are created in conjunction with other universities.
- Completed their social service in compliance with the legal precepts in force and the corresponding social service regulations.
- Taken the external exam authorized by the Office of the Academic and Educational Innovation Vice Rector, to evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired during their undergraduate program. This requirement applies solely to students from the undergraduate programs for which these exams exist. The result of this exam will be recorded on the student’s transcript. Students from the undergraduate programs for which this exam does not exist must take the capstone exams designed for this purpose. This requirement applies only to students from the undergraduate degrees for which these exams exist.
- Demonstrated a B2 level of proficiency in the English language according to the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR) in one of the tests authorized by the Office of the Academic and Educational Innovation Vice Rector.
- Fulfilled any additional requirements established in their program and authorized by the Office of the Academic and Educational Innovation Vice Rector.
Graduates can register their undergraduate degree with the Mexican Ministry of Public Education and apply for their professional license for professional practice in Mexico. The degree or professional license must meet additional government or institutional requirements in order to be valid in other countries.
